The rooms were all extremely spacious with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was very good and with a full English option; the staff was good.

The warmth from the fireplace in the bar area was perfect after a chilly winter stroll along the beach. Richard's attentive service on Christmas Day truly made our holiday special.

Big brilliant value hotel with a magnificent and absolutely perfect location adjacent to a super fish restaurant, nice pubs and restaurants and plenty of shops within walking distances and amusements. Overall a pleasant overnight stay of two nights. Brand-new and beautifully presented room, exceptionally helpful staff, private parking. A lot of food for a full English breakfast...

Tired old fashioned hotel. Tiny double room. Bright red lipstick mark on bathroom towel.
Location on seafront
Expensive for a tired, small, unclean room.

Brilliant setting in the good area, next to the seafront and brighton pier. Lots of food at the excellent breakfast. Early check-in, parking off site.
Unfortunately Wi-Fi signal was very weak, and the bathroom was very old.

Great breakfast buffet.
Although comparable rooms in the upper floors were free, we were accommodated in the 1st floor (very noisy). After the complaint we were able to change the rooms, but not to the top floor as we had hoped. At night until early in the morning there was a lot of noise from passers-by - especially on the lower floors.

The location's great. The staff was mostly helpful. The bar's great. The 5 o'clock-tea is recommended.
The age-old interior does not correspond to a 4-star hotel, but was appropriate thanks to the low pound exchange rate. There was only one towel, one shampoo, one shower gel - even though there were two of us. The elevator was ancient. Same with the carpets. There was no room for the wheelchair. The tap water was inedible and not usable for coffee/tea, although there were kettles, coffee and tea in the room. A bottle of water would have been good.

The view from the sea-facing room captures fine sunsets. The spacious common areas, including the staircase, have a classic charm that adds character to the experience.
Noise from nearby clubs. The carpet in the halls looked worn, and the furniture in the room bore scratches and stains, giving a less-than-fresh impression. The air vent in the bathroom could use some detailing, and the room lighting felt dim, lacking brightness where it matters most. I was also surprised at the shower's water temperature, which didn't offer the refreshing cooldown expected on warm days.

The location's great. The staff is friendly and also the breakfast buffet was good. The room was very big.
The bathroom was very small and has to be renovated. In front of the hotel there is one of the main roads i.e. it is noisy but with a beautiful view

Great location near the pier and the beach promenade. Rooms are clean and ok in size. On weekends through the night there were noisy people outside, but the clubs and pubs are nearby :-)
